Lightning bolt.

Everyone can benefit from feeding their creative side.  We’re meant to make things.  Drawing is a tool of personal expression.  We are encouraged to be clear speakers and writers because of how it connects us to others.  What about art?  Even something as a modest doodle on the bathroom mirror for an audience of one person, matters.  It’s fun to sketch absentmindedly with crayon at a restaurant with your kids.

It’s about being more comfortable with the struggle to create something as we see it in our minds. We’re losing our tolerance for activities with delayed gratification.

Carving out a little bit of artistic activity in our lives get us back to being  able to listen to the quiet whisper of inspiration.  It’s lets us create space in our life where we can be alone with those soft voices.

So this is my inaugural post.  I rambled a bit.  If  think you are the kind of person who can only draw a stickman, why not join the group and find out what happens next.  If you’ve ever been frustrated by the difference between something you were making and the picture of it in your head then this is the place for you.  Join us on the stickman artists facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/stickmanartists/
