I have added a section to my website called “Drawing References”.
I’m in the midst of improving my familiarity with the structures and substructures of the face to improve my portrait drawing and painting.
The website Sketchfab.com has some excellent 3d models that can be seen from any angle.
This is especially useful when you are producing a portrait from an incomplete or poor reference.
The photo below shows how I’m going to be using the three references at once while composing a drawing.
Each browser window is in it’s own frame so the reference views can be oriented to match the photo I’m working from.
