We had high excitement tonight. Local television sensationalized a recent study of our township’s water supply resulting in some hysteria. Down at the township offices in Odessa the company that performed the study, Trow Consulting Engineers Ltd., were there to explain to everyone in attendance just what the finding of the study were.

The first significant detail announced was that anyone living in Amherstview, had the benefit of MUNICIPAL water and that our water filtration facilities are state of the art and notably the very newest in Ontario. The study was pertaining only to ground water and those on private wells and that (again) anyone from Amherstview could leave, because this meeting wasn’t for them.

So I said goodbye to my new farming friends, and left.
