It turns out that the Funk & Wagnall’s Hammond WORLD ATLAS is almost the right size for a palm keyboard so I’m in bed and typing. Catching the bed-vibe. Oh yeah.
Rabbit eats Popsicles and reads. Kitty negotiates a spot between our legs, then disturbed by heaven-knows-what, jumps of the bed and goes to work on a plastic bag on the floor.
I have discovered another position that it sucks to type in. Our Wal-Mart Superfan circulates airborne dust-bunnies.
Today Stu and I were the only guys in the downstairs office. I signed people up and everything. I did two phone signups! The weather was hospitable again today so the air conditioner didn’t get turned on. Customers stormed our beaches in droves. The phone scarcely stopped ringing. After a hearty meal of crusty bread and cheese I signed up for a Canadian Tire Card online. I will hear back from them in 14 days. Then I will be able to buy all the jumper cables and weather stripping I’ve always wanted and with 30 day terms. Huzzah, for the modern world.
Oh I can’t believe I almost forgot: On the way to pick up Jenny today, The brakes on the car suddenly went soft. So with the brake pedal intermittently pinned to the floor, I drove through some of the worst traffic I’ve seen in Kingston in quite some time. From there we dropped the car off at Goodyear and endured the good natured, toothless chiding of the staff. Looks like we “leaked us some brake fluid”. After yet another cab ride home following automotive tribulation, we got in late, hung out, and turned in.
