Rabbit’s Grandpa has come home to Parham and we’re going up to see him today. Welcome Grandpa! He is originally from Milton (Kilbride specifically) and has been taking care of himself with waning success, so Rabbit’s dad has taken it upon himself to move him out here so he can help him out.
Yesterday sort of disappeared on us. We decided to grab a nap at 3 in the afternoon and forgot to set the alarm. We awoke around 7:30PM disappointed that Saturday was gone. To compensate for our lousy predicament we went out for a late dinner at McGuiness Landing and then went for a drive. The weather has been unseasonably warm and breezy so it felt like spring in a funny sort of way.
Added a news feed to the big web site last night also. I’m in need of some sort of solution for a news feed on the InterNet Kingston homepage and I’ve been contemplating one in PHP that uses incoming mail from a CBC email digest and then parses it into something I can post automatically. I have worked out what I think I will have to do to make this work and now I’m just waiting to find the time to get back to working it. On the other hand I might just try the news feed I’m using here at Jaeson.com. There’s precious little Canadian content on it and that is a concern for a local Canadian web site but as something to hold us over as we grow, it might keep our customers going into the shock of news withdrawal.
