I have been seriously considering a departure from Blogger. This will allow me to start archiving pictures and going backwards and filling in important things that I’ve missed over the years folks might enjoy reading about. Eventually I hope to dig into even those old school memories for the public’s reading pleasure. All these things in the fullness of time I guess.

James is off on account of his birthday and so Pat and I are keeping the world stoked on Internet service here at the big front desk department.

The weekend went fine and we managed to get back from Cambridge without any disasters to report. My brother is seeing a nice lady on a regular basis (hi Erin!) and he brought her by Mom’s for a dinner she had planned. I hope we didn’t traumatize her to much. Everyone was feeling a little silly and Mom broke out some of uncle Claire’s fortified grape-hooch. It’s a wonder I didn’t go blind. On the Sunday of our visit Mom had us all down to the Walmart for a family photo. I cannot conceive of a more “Us” moment than being corralled into the Walmart for a family photo. My brother in law commandeered one of the photographers hand puppets and used to get smiles out of everybody. The backgrounds where cheesy. It was fabulous. After that we met up with Jonathon’s new beau and then had lunch/dinner at a family restaurant in Kitchener.
